Class:  Graphic Design Studio
A core graphic design class I took during my semester abroad in Copenhagen

Project:  Design a series of posters relating to different areas of study throughout the semester. In this case The Egg Chair designed by Arne Jacobsen, the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, Netherlands (which I visited on a study tour), and the Erasmus Bridge, which was the featured exhibition in the Kunsthal during my visit there.

The Egg Chair:  The first poster was required to be made by hand, and had to include the quote, "good design doesn't date" by Paul Rand. The second poster was required to be made only using simple vector shapes.
Kunsthal Rotterdam:  These two posters were designed as promotional material for the museum. The first poster uses imagery of direct mail to depict the museum's goal to reach a wide audience. The second poster uses elements of the museum's way finding and signage.
The Swan of Rotterdam:  The Swan of Rotterdam is the nickname for the Erasmus Bridge, due to its swan-like form. I vectorized a photo I took of the bridge from an underneath angle to create a more interesting composition.
